Neil has over 28 years of actuarial and benefits consulting experience, specializing in pension plan design and actuarial consulting. Prior to becoming a founding member of Shore Tompkins Actuarial Resources, Neil was a Managing Director at RSM McGladrey Retirement Resources. Under Neil’s leadership as National Director, the Actuarial Services division of RSM McGladrey became the fastest-growing, most profitable unit in the company.
Before joining the firm he was a Principal with Pension Resources, a division of the accounting and consulting firm FERS. Neil also has worked as a consulting actuary with William M. Mercer, one of the largest employee-benefit consulting firms in the world, where he provided actuarial advice and services for mid-to-large size corporate pension plans.
Neil provides prompt, highly personalized client service. A strategic thinker and excellent speaker, Neil frequently addresses insurance, investment and accounting groups on approaches to retirement plan design. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Illinois and is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries, and Enrolled Actuary and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.

Kathy has over 24 years of actuarial and benefit consulting experience, specializing in the design of retirement plans for businesses, and providing the necessary consulting to administer retirement plans effectively.
Prior to becoming a founding member of Shore Tompkins Actuarial Resources, Kathy was Director of Actuarial Operations for RSM McGladrey Retirement Resources, where she supervised an actuarial staff of 17 employees.
Kathy has a unique background which consists of extensive knowledge in both defined benefit and defined contribution plan administration. This allows her to have a complete understanding of a business’ best retirement options. Kathy focuses on the needs of her clients and develops close working relationships with them.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Illinois and is an Enrolled Actuary (EA), a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (AAA) and a Member of the American Society of Pension Actuaries (ASPA).
